Article & book chapter requests may take from 1 to 5 business days. Depending on availability from a lending library, it could take up to 2 weeks. The best thing to do is to plan ahead by requesting materials far enough in advance of the assignment's due date.
Purpose of registration
To request an item through Interlibrary Loan, you must fill out the new user registration form. Registration has two purposes: Entering your personal information means you will not have to supply the information again when making future requests. You will be able to edit your personal information in the event it changes. Please keep this information current. Email notifications will be sent to the email address you use to register your Interlibrary Loan Account. You will be notified at this email address when your materials have arrived. Electronic versions of materials will be made available for viewing and download in your Interlibrary Loan Account. Items that are delivered through the postal service will be mailed to the address listed in your Northcentral University Account.
About your Username and Password
During registration, you will be asked to choose a Username and Password. You will use this Username and Password when logging into your Interlibrary Loan Account in the future. Choose anything you like, such as your name, abbreviations, or an alphanumeric code. We recommend that you follow good security practice and choose a password that is different from those you use to access other systems. Your password will be encrypted and only known by you.
