What is Heath Care Law?

This course has been structured to encompass important considerations in both individual and public health care law. As such, you will migrate back and forth between two types of interests, namely the interests of the public, and the interests of the individual.

Frequently, these two interests can also collide with the interests of state and federal government interests. Health law includes elements of constitutional law, tort law, administrative law and on occasion criminal law. Laws, pasted by various levels of government end up having their everyday meaning in federal and state regulation. Therefore, various governmental bodies influence health law in different ways, and we will be addressing those over the course.
