Direct Export from Library Databases & Select Websites

Many Library databases, such as  ProQuest and EBSCOhost, and the Library’s Roadrunner Search will allow you to automatically export your references to RefWorks. For a complete list of databases allowing for direct export, click here.

Academic websites such as Google Scholar Worldcat, and PubMed, also offer direct export citations to RefWorks.

The Library's Introduction to New RefWorks Workshop video demonstrates this process and other methods for adding citations to your Refworks account. Or view the short ProQuest Refworks video Adding References Using Direct Export, which demonstrates how to use direct export with ProQuest database.
